I’m popping in to announce a new workshop I’ll be leading! I’d love for you to join us…all the details are below.

Make a Denim Dahlia at Artesana

Learn how to repurpose old jeans into a beautiful piece of wall art on March 12, 2019 at Artesana in Holyoke, MA from 6-8pm and make a denim dahlia! Sign up online or continue reading for more details…

In this upcycling workshop we will create petal templates from repurposed material and then you’ll use them to design your own denim dahlia. The templates are yours to keep and the project is perfect for getting those creative juices flowing while spending a relaxing evening with other crafty* folks.

*No craft experience required 🙂

Ready to unwind and spend time with your crafty community?

YAY!! Me too. Spending an evening with your creative self and like-minded locals is good for all bits of our beings and I can’t wait to spend it with you!

Signing up is simple. Tickets are $30. Space is limited to 14.

Artesana is providing us with a cozy space in their weaving studio which is already buzzing with creative energy. They are located in Holyoke’s Innovation District, just one block from Gateway City Arts. There is plenty of free on-street parking on Dwight and Race St. and the sidewalks are well-lit…maybe the sun will even be setting over the canal for us that evening.

All you need to bring is yourself.

I’ll be providing all of the materials (including buttons!), patterns/tutorials, and some yummy hot tea and cookies. It will be a lovely experience and you won’t want to miss it, I promise.

Workshop led by Amber Ladley of Happily Upcycled.

Amber Ladley is a lifelong crafter and creative entrepreneur. She finds tremendous joy in crafting with others while sharing innovative ways to reduce waste for our planet. Join her, along with members of your crafty community, for an inspirational evening and leave with a denim dahlia handmade by you!
